Description
APPLICATION
The TAFLO 3SP range are a robust AC/DC Solar pumps designed for borehole application as well as tanks and shallow well installation. The pump motor has an inbuilt electronic unit containing a frequency converter and motor controller which allows it to be powered by both AC and DC sources. The Motor operates at a speed range of 500-3600rpm depending on power input and load, which allows the pump to operate at any point within the performance curve.
CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
- Hybrid Motor powered by both AC and DC source, priority being given to DC and AC tops up any shortfall in solar irradiation.
- Soft start running. Supply voltage 60-380VMP or 90-240vAC at 50/60Hz. Max VOC 440V.
- Inbuilt protection against Dry run, Reverse rotation, Overload, Over Current, Over/Under Voltage Lightening.
- Materials of construction SS304
PUMP CONTROLLER FEATURES
- Display input power AC and DC, Water Level control with electric float switch, Pressure control with pressure switch,
- Can select power source to either AC, DC or Auto mode.
- Auto mode allows automatic switching between DC and AC depending on solar irradiation.
- Has provision for generator connection
- IP65 weather proof enclosure

Clean non aggressive water with no sand. Maximum Temperature 300C.
